Food Bank of Iowa Awarded Grant from Tyson Foods to Double our Impact

Hunger relief is the primary way Tyson Foods gives back. We’re proud to announce a grant for $150,000 for our Double the Impact: Ramping Up Food Bank of Iowa Warehouse and Distribution Efficiency project.

In order to completely meet the need of individuals in our service area, Food Bank of Iowa needs to DOUBLE the amount of food we distribute. This grant will allow us to fund three over the road vehicles, two forklifts and four pallet jacks, increasing our efficiency. This means more meals to more people in our community!
