We’d like to take a moment to recognize our core volunteers. Food Bank of Iowa is lucky to have a group of volunteers that dedicate a portion of each week with our organization. Their knowledge and skill set make it possible for us to take on big projects like rescuing food at the Iowa State Fair. Eight volunteers supported the food rescue for four hours each. Together they rescued over 5,000 pounds of food!
